2009 RUN FOR RESEARCH MARATHON TEAMThe American Liver Foundation's Run for Research® (RFR) is one of the oldest and largest marathon teams in the Boston Athletic Association's official charity program. For over two decades we have helped thousands of runners train for and compete in the historic Boston Marathon while raising critical funds in the fight against liver disease. In 2008, our 248 runners raised over $1.1 million in critical funds for the American Liver Foundation. Whether you are a first-time marathoner or a running veteran, we invite you to join this extraordinary group of volunteers from all over the United States as we set our sights even higher for the 113th Boston Marathon on April 20, 2009. At this time the Run for Research 2009 team roster is full. We are only accepting applications for qualified runners or runners who have obtained an entry from another source. Please visit our Qualified Runners Page for more information about joining our team.
