2009 RUN FOR RESEARCH MARATHON TEAM
The American Liver Foundation's Run for Research® (RFR) is one of the oldest and largest marathon teams in the Boston Athletic Association's official charity program. For over two decades we have helped thousands of runners train for and compete in the historic Boston Marathon while raising critical funds in the fight against liver disease.
In 2008, our 248 runners raised over $1.1 million in critical funds for the American Liver Foundation. Whether you are a first-time marathoner or a running veteran, we invite you to join this extraordinary group of volunteers from all over the United States as we set our sights even higher for the 113th Boston Marathon on April 20, 2009.
December 1 Application Deadline
We have received an overwhelming amount of applications for the 2009 season and our team roster is nearly full. If we cannot offer you an RFR entry immediately you will be placed on our waiting list. All RFR applications must be submitted before December 1 to be considered for the team.
